Bio: I would have to say that I am a person who has tried a lot of things and yet has found all of them wanting in one aspect or another. I love life and nature, and the outdoors. This as well as relationships often inspires my poetry. I would consider myself a poet, but it would seem I have had writers block for at least the last several months now. It's not easy to create all the time, and I have just sensed a deadness in my writing of late. I suppose ultimately I am seeking the romantic and passionate, whose mind isn't so hung on them that they can't see what is real in life. I think Aristotle had it right when he figured that everyone should live by moderation. Whether I have always practiced this method is doubtful, but I aspire to reach it someday. Other than that my poetry speaks best for the type of person I am, certainly I am more than my poetry, but it gives a little insight. So I leave you with one of my poems. Alas My Bright Beauty She shines in radiance as the sun Glittering through a lofty cloud. And all that's ugly she did shun With humble looks to calm the proud. Skin as tender as creation Singing of her glory aloud. And in the dawn, and at the eve Her tresses flowing in the wind; Her naked shadow would receive A grateful sigh, with every kind Of longing look that did conceive That wondrous soul that they should find. One ray the more, one beam the less Would find a naked hollow shell, Of empty beauty's wilderness And broken dreams one should not tell. But in her heart I do confess Unmatched splendor that does compel.
